The intensive training that White Collar Boxing puts you through requires the correct daily food intake. Throughout the programme your body will be working as a machine and you’ll need the best food possible to fuel that machine.
The right amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in your diet is essential. Getting this mix correct is the key to your optimal performance. You are about to put your body through intensive training and to help you recover from this you need the correct diet. Each meal should contain:
- 1 portion of protein
- 2 servings of fruit or veg
- 1 serving of carbohydrates or fat.
During your programme, invest time in meal prep to keep your meals varied. It isn’t a myth that eating well helps you to perform to your best. In order to aid your muscle recovery, taking nutritional supplements is advised. Keep hydrated during and after your training is also essential.
